P S - If You are a beginner in DSLR's but you hope to become a serious hobbyist photographer So you are looking for a camera that would provide more area to grow then Nikon D5200 is best option
****Features which D5200 has -
You get a option for Timelapse Recording
This camera is good in tough lighting conditions as AE Bracketing is present
It has more no of focus points i e 39 which will help you to focus more accurately
High quality of audio can be recorded as D5200 have a mircophone port
Gives you Articulating screen (I personally don't look for this feature in the camera)
****Now why i choose D5200 over D 5300
I would suggest D5200 as the price is less and there is no difference in image quality at all The only thing improved in D5300 are in-built WIFI and GPS
But the D5200 also supports WIFI adapters An adapter can be attached to D5200 to achieve photo transfers through WIFI So i see no point in taking D5300 just because of GPS functionality
frankly speaking these slight changes won't make much of a difference in image quality because the sensor is still the same( Both Cameras ) technology is still same Nobody is going to feel any difference if you did /didn't use GPS to click a landscape nobody would mind if you did/didn't use wireless functionally( WIFI ) to click an image Ultimately what matters is what picture you clicked
